In the service of technological innovation – the Ibis Solutions team at the prestigious Data Science conference in Belgrade

The Data Science conference, held in Belgrade at the end of November, is considered one of the most significant global events in #AI and #DataScience. Over 5,000 participants from 48 countries, all interested in artificial intelligence, analytics, machine learning, and data engineering, gathered to share insights, experiences, and ideas with fellow experts. Some of the most captivating topics discussed included Generative AI, NLP, Data in Cloud, Big Data Analytics, AI Safety, AI & Data Strategy, Building AI Products, as well as Computer Vision & Robotics and AI-powered Intrusion Detection.

In addition to technology-driven topics, there were discussions focusing on business and scientific fields aimed at decision-makers, as well as the latest trends that are shaping the world around us – such as NeroAICon (AI for Neuroscience & Biotech), People Analytics, AI-driven Marketing, Prompt Engineering, and DigiHealth innovations.

Ibis Solution was represented by Milovan Kovačević and Dragiša Dabović, who emphasized that this year’s conference focused on the applications and potential of artificial intelligence. Through participation in panel discussions, they explored real-world uses of this cutting-edge technology.

We particularly enjoyed the presentation by Microsoft, where they shared their perspective and implementations of AI-related services, as well as the panel discussions on AI applications in telecommunications and energy—sectors that are very close to us. Given the strong interest in Generative AI and large language models within our company, we were able to contribute significantly with ideas related to our business domains, pointed out Dragiša.

This conference was of great importance to our team, which is committed to technological innovation. We anticipate numerous changes by next year and look forward to presenting solutions and best practices that will make business operations more efficient.
