Ibis Solutions at the IDC CIO Summit

Another IDC CIO Summit was held in the beautiful ambiance of the Park Plaza Histria Hotel in Pula, from June 5 to 7, organized by IDC Adriatic. After two years marked by a pandemic, hundred of senior management representatives from across the region met to share experiences. The main goal of the event was to define the best ways to further digitally transform companies and the entire market through a variety of sessions of lectures, open discussions, and socializing. Ibis Solutions participated in this event as a “Networking Partner”.

Accelerated digitalization in all aspects of business requires much greater responsibility of IT managers, their involvement in all company processes, and a direct proactive impact on the creation of new business practices. In addition, the entire market is constantly evolving in different directions. The IDC CIO Summit has proven to be an excellent place to see the benefits and challenges of implementing the latest IT solutions in companies that do not necessarily operate in that area. This is very important to anticipate the direction of movement of new technological trends and their application in practice.

That is why I believe participating in such an event is essential for developing any promising company because, in one place, you can see all aspects of digitalization and the challenges that lie along the way. I am glad that in a less formal atmosphere, we heard the experiences of representatives of companies that have so far faced the challenges that await us. Still, on the other hand, we shared experiences from domains that are our expertise,” said Ilija Lazović, Director of System Integration at Ibis Solutions.

Until next year, we can only hope the circumstances will allow us to organize and attend such events regularly because nothing can replace the first-hand experience you can get at live events.
